Product Detail

The American Lock A2010KA5PN-34286 package includes one A20KA safety padlock made of solid brass and keyed differently, along with two keys. This padlock stands out with its wide solid brass body, offering excellent corrosion resistance in harsh, corrosive, and salty environments. The hardened boron alloy steel shackle, with a 5/16in (8mm) diameter, provides superior cut resistance. It features a dual stainless steel ball bearing locking mechanism that can withstand pulling and prying. The non-rekeyable 5-pin APCT12 cylinder with serrated pins is extremely difficult to pick. Ideal for tough conditions, the A20KA has a 1-3/4in (44mm) wide body and a 1-1/8in (29mm) tall shackle. Its specifications include a 3/4in (19mm) shackle width, solid brass material, 5-pin tumbler cylindrical/dual ball bearing locking mechanism, brass color, 1 lbs weight, and it's not a hazardous material.

Using this American Lock A20KA safety padlock is easy. First, find a place where you want to secure something, like a gate or a locker. Insert the shackle through the loop or hole of the object you want to lock. Then, close the shackle until you hear a click, which means it's locked. To unlock, just insert the key into the keyhole and turn it. When using the padlock, make sure the shackle is fully inserted and locked to ensure security. Avoid using it in extremely high - temperature or very dirty environments as much as possible. For maintenance, clean the padlock regularly with a dry cloth. If it gets wet, dry it immediately to prevent corrosion. You can also apply a little lubricant to the keyhole from time to time to keep the locking mechanism working smoothly.
