Using the DeWalt DCE700X2K FLEXVOLT 60V MAX Cordless Pipe Threader is a breeze. First, make sure your battery is fully charged. You can use the DCB118 20v/60v max fast charger to top it up. Once the battery is in place in the sealed battery box, you're ready to start. Select the appropriate die head for the pipe size you're working with - there are six different ones in the kit. Use the pipe clamp with the depth gauge to quickly set up your pipe. Then, use the die arm to start threading without having to touch the spinning die head. When you're done, always turn off the tool. Remember, the LED indicator will let you know when the battery is low. In terms of maintenance, keep the battery in its sealed box to protect it from cutting oils. Also, check the E - Clutch® System regularly to make sure it's working properly. If you're using the Tool Connect™ Tag (sold separately), use it to easily track your tool. And don't forget that this tool is compatible with RIDGID® 12R** style die heads, so you have more options if you need them.
