Using the Makita BL1840BSCX3 is easy. First, make sure the battery is fully charged using the 18V LXT Charger (DC18SD). You can check the charge level using the integrated L.E.D. indicator on the battery. Once charged, insert the battery into the 18V LXT Brushless 4-1/2” / 5' X-LOCK Angle Grinder (XAG25Z). The X-LOCK system allows you to change the blade quickly and easily. When using the grinder, hold it firmly and start with a slow speed.
