Product Detail

Landscapers are increasingly seeking cordless alternatives to gas-powered outdoor equipment. Makita steps up with its growing range of blowers, including the 40V ConnectX™ Brushless Backpack Blower (CBU02). This blower offers zero emissions, quieter operation, and much less maintenance compared to gas models. A Makita - built brushless motor packs the power of a 64cc backpack blower. It can generate a strong 22 Newtons of blowing force, perfect for heavy debris. The tube - mounted variable speed trigger lets you adjust the airflow from 0 to 671 CFM for better power and run - time control. There's also a cruise control lever on the variable speed trigger for comfortable continuous use. With a sound pressure rating of 60 dB(A) (measured per ANSI B 175.2 standard), it's not too noisy. The nozzle has a downward tip to reduce arm fatigue and provides powerful airflow. It can be telescoped to 3 stages. The in - line fan design ensures better tool balance and ergonomics. When paired with the ConnectX™ 1,200Wh Portable Backpack Power Supply (model PDC1200A01, sold separately), it can run for over 4 hours. For added convenience, there's a power button on the control handle so you can start the blower while wearing it. The control handle can be adjusted without tools. It has a rubberized soft grip for more comfort. The adjustable ergonomic harness with a waist belt keeps the operator comfortable. There's an integrated carry handle for easy transport and hanging storage, and a durable housing with a base that allows the blower to stand upright. The blower is IPX4 weather - resistant and features exclusive Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) to keep water and dust away from key components in harsh conditions. Included is one 3 - Stage Telescoping Blower Nozzle (CBU02, 413G70 - 6). It comes with a 3 - year limited warranty, and remember to use only genuine Makita batteries and chargers.

Using the Makita 40V Max ConnectX Brushless Backpack Blower CBU02Z is easy. First, make sure you have the ConnectX™ 1,200Wh Portable Backpack Power Supply (sold separately) properly connected. Put on the backpack blower using the adjustable ergonomic harness and waist belt for a comfortable fit. You can start the blower with the power button on the control handle while wearing it. To control the airflow, use the tube - mounted variable speed trigger. You can adjust it from 0 to 671 CFM according to the task at hand. If you need continuous operation, use the cruise control lever on the variable speed trigger. When using the blower, hold it by the handle with the rubberized soft grip. You can adjust the 3 - stage telescoping nozzle to suit your height and the application. Remember to follow these safety tips. Only use genuine Makita batteries and chargers to avoid any issues. Don't operate the blower in extremely wet conditions, although it has IPX4 weather - resistant construction. For maintenance, keep the blower clean. After each use, check for any debris stuck in the nozzle or other parts. Wipe down the housing. If you notice any signs of damage, have it checked by a professional. Also, refer to the 3 - year limited warranty for any problems that may occur during the warranty period.
