Using this Makita dust extractor kit is a breeze. First, make sure your 40V max XGT® batteries are fully charged using the dual port rapid optimum charger. Then, attach the anti - static hose to the dust extractor using one of the appropriate cuff adapters depending on your tool. If you have an AWS® - equipped tool, you can set up the Auto - start Wireless System by pairing the dust extractor with your tool (remember, the AWS® transmitter is sold separately).
When operating, you can use the variable speed control dial to adjust the suction power according to your needs. For example, if you're doing light dust extraction, you can set it to a lower speed to save battery. The 360 - degree mobility with four wheels allows you to easily move the dust extractor around the job site. Just lock the rear casters when you want to keep it in place.
