Using the DeWalt DWV9140 Large Tapered Diameter Adapter is a breeze. First, find the DWV9000 universal connector on your tool. Then, attach this adapter to it for a quick link to the tool dust port. When choosing the port to connect to, make sure the outer diameter of the port is between 2.17 inches and 2.36 inches (55 - 60 mm). As for maintenance, keep it clean by wiping it with a dry cloth after each use. Avoid using it with ports outside the specified diameter range, as this may cause a poor connection or damage to the adapter.
