Using the Makita B - 07347 scaling chisel is easy. First, make sure your Makita HK1810 or HK1800 power hammer (sold separately) is turned off. Insert the hex - style shank of the chisel into the power hammer until it fits securely. When using it, keep a firm grip on the power tool. The 2 - inch wide blade allows you to cover a large area quickly, so move the tool steadily across the surface you're working on. The 5 - 7/8 - inch bit length helps in spreading the shock evenly, but don't apply excessive force as it may damage the chisel or the power tool.
