Using the DeWalt DCE158D1 is easy. First, make sure the DCB203 20V MAX* Premium Battery is fully charged and inserted into the cutter. When you're ready to cut, position the wire mesh cable tray between the cutting dies. Then, press the trigger to start the cutting process. After each cut, the tool will automatically shut off, and you can re - position it for the next one. When working at height, attach a lanyard (sold separately) to the Lanyard Ready® feature for safety. For asset management on the jobsite, you can insert the Tool Connect™ Chip DCE042 (sold separately) into the chip pocket and use the Tool Connect™ Site Manager app. As for maintenance, keep the tool clean and dry. After using it, wipe it down with a clean cloth. Check the cutting dies regularly for wear and tear, and replace them if needed. Also, store the tool in the provided kit bag when not in use to protect it from damage.
