Using the DeWalt DCE40034 3/4 - inch PEX expansion head is a breeze. First, make sure your PEX tubing is clean and free of debris. Then, simply insert the head into the end of the tubing. Thanks to its automatic rotating feature, the head will expand the tubing evenly without you having to do extra work. When you're done, remove the head carefully. As for maintenance, keep the head clean after each use. You can wipe it down with a dry cloth. The chrome coating and black zinc plating offer good protection, but try to avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals.
