Using the DeWalt DCE400D2 is a breeze. First, make sure the batteries are fully charged. Attach the appropriate expander head for the Pex Type - A tubing you're working with. Apply some of the included PEX expander grease to the tubing end and the expander head. Then, insert the expander head into the tubing and pull the trigger. The automatic rotating head will ensure even expansion. When you're done, release the trigger. For storage, use the dual - sided hang and belt hooks. As for maintenance, keep the tool clean and dry. After each use, wipe it down and store it in the kit box. If the batteries aren't going to be used for a long time, remove them from the tool. And always use DEWALT®, Milwaukee®, or Uponor® heads that are compatible with this tool.
