Using the DeWalt DCG409VSB grinder is easy. First, make sure you've attached the Type 27 Guard and Side Handle properly using the Hex Key. Insert the battery (sold separately) and you're ready to go. You can adjust the wheel speed according to the task you're doing. If you're working on a delicate project, slow it down, and for tougher jobs, increase the speed. When using the grinder, always wear safety gear like goggles and gloves. The E - CLUTCH® and Kickback Brake are there to protect you, but don't rely on them alone. If the grinder pinches, stalls, or binds up, it'll stop quickly thanks to these features. Also, when you let go of the trigger, the wheel will stop right away. After use, clean the grinder with a dry cloth. Don't use water or any harsh chemicals. Store it in a dry place. If you want to use the Tool Connect™ feature, insert the Tool Connect™ Chip DCE042 (sold separately) into the chip pocket and connect it to the Tool Connect™ Site Manager app on your device for easy tracking and management on the jobsite.
