Using the DeWalt DCK248D2 combo kit is easy. First, charge the two included 20V MAX 2.0 Ah lithium-ion batteries using the charger. Once charged, insert a battery into either the drill/driver or the impact driver. For the drill/driver, select the appropriate speed and torque settings according to your task. You can use the 1/2-inch metal ratcheting chuck to securely hold your drill bits. The 3-position, pivoting LED will help you see in dark areas. Just adjust it to the right angle and turn it on. When using the impact driver, choose from the 3-speed settings for different fastening and drilling jobs. The Percision Drive™ in speed 1 will prevent over-tightening of screws. When you're done, remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Also, put the tools back in the kit bag for safekeeping. Keep the tools clean by wiping them with a dry cloth after each use. If they get dirty, you can use a mild detergent and water, but make sure they're completely dry before using them again. Don't expose the tools to extreme temperatures or moisture, as this can damage them. And always follow the safety instructions provided with the kit.
