Using the DeWalt DCK278C2 kit is easy. First, charge the 20V MAX* lithium-ion batteries using the included charger. Once charged, insert a battery into the drill/driver or impact driver. For the drill/driver, select the appropriate bit and insert it into the 1/2 in. ratcheting chuck. Adjust the speed using the variable speed trigger according to the material you're working on. The LED on the foot will help you see what you're doing. For the impact driver, insert a bit into the 1/4 in. chuck. The 3 LEDs on the impact driver will illuminate your workspace. When using both tools, hold them firmly with the ergonomic design in mind for better control. Remember to wear safety goggles when using these tools. After use, remove the battery from the tool and store it in a cool, dry place. Clean the tools regularly with a dry cloth to keep them in good condition.
