Using the DeWalt DCLE34220G is a breeze. First, insert the 20V MAX* 2Ah lithium - ion battery into the laser. Then, find a suitable place to mount it. You can use the magnetic mount to attach it to metal surfaces or the ceiling/wall bracket for other locations. Turn on the laser and use the fine adjustment knob to get accurate readings. You can control individual laser lines and spots to save battery life. When you're done, turn off the laser and remove the battery if you won't be using it for a while. For maintenance, keep the laser clean. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. Store it in the DEWALT TSTAK® case to protect it from damage. Make sure to charge the battery properly and don't over - charge it. If you use 12V MAX* batteries, check compatibility before use.
