Using the Makita ADP05 is a breeze. First, make sure you have a compatible Makita 18V Lithium - Ion battery with a Star symbol (you'll need to buy the battery and charger separately). Slide the battery into the ADP05. Once it's in place, you can plug your USB - compatible devices into the two available ports. You can charge up to two devices at once. The belt clip is really useful if you're working and want to use smaller devices on the move. Just attach it to your belt or holster. When it comes to the on/off switch, it's right there for easy access. As for maintenance, keep an eye on the rubber covers on the USB ports.
