The Makita GSH01Z is a remarkable 40V max XGT® brushless 7-1/4” cordless circular saw. It offers cordless freedom for high-demand tasks. The Makita-built brushless motor runs at 6,000 RPM, enabling high-speed cutting. With a large 2-5/8” cutting capacity at 90 degrees, it can cut three times more material in one pass. Ideal for framers, builders, roofers, and more. It has a 56-degree bevel capacity with positive stops at 22.5, 45, and 56 degrees. The saw features an electric brake for top productivity, dual LED lights, and a die-cast magnesium base and blade guard, which are durable and lightweight. The Automatic Torque Drive Technology adjusts the cutting speed under load for optimal performance. It's equipped with Makita's Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™), which channels water and dust away from key internal parts in harsh conditions. The Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS®) uses Bluetooth to communicate wirelessly between the tool and a dust extractor. Once connected, the dust extractor powers on and off automatically with the tool, saving power and reducing noise. XGT is a system using 40V max lithium-ion batteries. It's designed for high power, with advanced brushless motor tech, digital communication, and durability. It includes a 7-1/4' 24T C.T. circular saw blade (B-61656). The saw has many great features like a compact design, on-board hex wrench, and digital communication that optimizes performance and protects against overload, over-discharge, and overheating. The XGT® batteries and charger have special designs for better power delivery and faster charging.

Using the Makita GSH01Z circular saw is easy. First, make sure you attach the included 7-1/4' 24T C.T. circular saw blade correctly. You can adjust the bevel angle from 0 to 56 degrees with positive stops at 22.5, 45, and 56 degrees according to your cutting needs. When you start cutting, the electric brake will help you stop quickly for better productivity. The LED lights will illuminate your work area, both before and after you use the saw. If you have an AWS® - compatible dust extractor and the Auto - start Wireless Transmitter (sold separately), connect them via Bluetooth. The dust extractor will then turn on and off automatically when you start and stop the saw. Remember, the battery is not included. When choosing a battery, make sure it's an XGT® battery as they are designed for this saw. For maintenance, keep the saw clean. After using it in a dusty or wet environment, the XPT™ technology helps protect the internal parts, but it's still a good idea to wipe it down. Check the blade regularly for any signs of wear and replace it if needed. Also, use the on - board hex wrench to make sure all parts are tightened properly. Don't overload the saw. The digital communication in the XGT® system will monitor and protect against overload, over - discharge, and overheating, but it's still best to use it within its capacity. When charging the battery, use the XGT® Rapid Charger. The dual - fan design will cool the battery and circuit board quickly, and the digital display will show you the battery charge level.
