Using the Makita GWT05Z is easy. First, make sure you have a compatible 40V max XGT® lithium - ion battery (not included). Insert the battery into the tool, ensuring it clicks securely. Select the appropriate speed using the 4 - speed power selection switch based on your task. For general tightening or loosening, start with a lower speed and increase as needed. When using the auto - stop modes, the tool will stop automatically once the fastener is adequately loosened, saving you time and effort. The full - speed mode can be used when you need quick full - speed operation. Just pull the trigger, and the tool will respond. When working in tight spaces, the compact size of the tool will come in handy. Be sure to keep the tool clean and dry. After each use, wipe it down with a clean cloth. If it gets dirty, use a mild soap and water solution to clean the exterior. Avoid getting water inside the tool. Store the tool in a cool, dry place. When it comes to the battery, only use genuine Makita® batteries and chargers. The XGT® rapid charger will charge the battery quickly, but make sure to monitor the charge level on the digital display. And remember, this tool comes with a 3 - year limited warranty, so if you have any issues, reach out to Makita's customer service.
