Using the Milwaukee M18™ PACKOUT™ Light/Charger is a breeze. First, if you want to use it right away, you can power it with an M18™ Battery. Just insert the battery properly into the designated slot. Or, you can connect it to an AC power source for continuous use. To adjust the lighting, you can rotate the three independent light heads vertically up to 180 degrees and horizontally up to 300 degrees. Select from the three different modes (All Lights, Main Panel, or Back/Front Lights) and then choose high, medium, or low settings according to your needs. You can also charge your devices like phones using the 2.1AMP USB output. There's a storage compartment inside, so you can keep small things like screws or keys. When it comes to maintenance, since it's IP54 rated, it can resist water and dust to some extent. But still, try to keep it away from excessive moisture and dirt. If it gets dirty, you can use a dry or slightly damp cloth to clean it. When not in use, store it in a cool, dry place. Make sure to check the battery regularly and charge it when needed to keep it in good condition.
