The Fluke 62 MAX can measure temperatures from -30 °C to 500 °C (-22 °F to 932 °F), while the 62 MAX+ can measure from -30 °C to 650 °C (-22 °F to 1202 °F). They are extremely accurate, with the 62 MAX+ having an accuracy of up to + 1.0 °C or + 1.0% of the reading. With an IP54 rating, they are water-resistant and dust-proof, allowing you to work in all weather conditions and dirty industrial sites. They can withstand a 3m drop, so you don't have to worry when working from a ladder. They are small, lightweight, and can be easily clipped to your tool belt or fit into your tool box. The 62 MAX+ has an up to 12:1 distance to spot ratio, thanks to precise laser technology for more accurate and repeatable measurements. It also features dual lasers to help you identify the area to be measured. The large, backlit display makes it easy to read data, even in dark areas. You can view the minimum, maximum, average temperature, or the difference between two measurements with the Min/Max/Avg/Dif function. There are Hi and Lo alarms for rapid display of measurements outside the limits. Both models are powered by a single, standard AA battery and come with a 3-year warranty. They offer a temperature range of -30 °C to 500 °C (-22 °F to 932 °F), with an accuracy of ±1.5 °C or ±1.5% of the reading (whichever is greater), and have a response time of < 500 ms (95% of the reading). Their spectral response is 8 to 14 microns, emissivity is 0.10 to 1.00, optical resolution is 10:1 (calculated at 90% energy), and display resolution is 0.1 °C (0.2 °F). The repeatability of readings is ±0.8% of the reading or < ±1.0 °C (2 °F), whichever is greater. Battery life is 10 hours with the laser and backlight on. These thermometers are compact, accurate, and user-friendly, with excellent dust and water resistance.
