This Gardner Bender knockout die comes with a single die. Ideal for 10 - gauge mild steel and 12 - gauge stainless steel, it punches holes designed for 3/4 - inch pipes or conduits. The actual hole diameter is 1.086 inches. Gardner Bender dies are interchangeable with most knockout brands. Made from black - oxide - coated, hardened and tempered chrome - moly steel, this 3/4 - inch die can punch clean, round holes through various soft metals up to 0.135 inches thick. There are also additional sizes available for easy installation of electrical conduits and pipes sized from 1/2' to 4' in common increments.

How to use: First, make sure you pair this Gardner Bender knockout die with a GB 4 - point punch. Then place it on the 10 - gauge mild steel, 12 - gauge stainless steel, or other soft metals up to 0.135 inches thick that you want to punch a hole in. Start the punching process and watch as the slug drops out freely. No need to tap or pry. Note: Only use it on appropriate materials as specified. Avoid using it on overly thick or hard metals that might damage the die. Maintenance: After each use, clean the die to remove any metal shavings. You can use a dry cloth. Store it in a dry place to prevent rusting, especially because it's made of chrome - moly steel.
