Product Detail

The Powers Fasteners 8478SD - PWR is a top - notch adhesive anchoring system. It's of type Ac100+ with a cool gray color. The container comes in a cartridge style and holds 10 fluid ounces. The mixing ratio is 10:1, and it can work in a temperature range from 14 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. It cures functionally in 15 minutes to 24 hours and fully cures in the same time frame. The work life spans from 1 to 90 minutes. Ideal for concrete substrates, it's great for rebar doweling and threaded rod bonding, suitable for use with threaded rods and rebar dowels. This product includes a single nozzle. It's a two - component system designed to bond threaded rods and reinforcing bar hardware into drilled holes in concrete. The epoxy gets automatically mixed when dispensed through the nozzle. Make sure to clean the hole of dust and debris before injecting the epoxy. Fill about two - thirds of the hole with epoxy from the back, then insert the anchoring system or rod while turning to spread the adhesive evenly. Let the epoxy fully cure before applying any load.

Using the Powers Fasteners 8478SD - PWR is easy. First, make sure the hole in the concrete is clean. You need to get rid of all the dust and debris. Then, fill about two - thirds of the hole with the epoxy from the back. Next, insert the anchoring system or rod while turning it. This helps the adhesive spread evenly. Wait for the epoxy to fully cure, which can take anywhere from 15 minutes to 24 hours. Don't apply any load until it's fully cured. As for maintenance, keep the product in a cool and dry place within the temperature range of 14 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. Check the nozzle regularly for any blockages. If it's blocked, you may need to replace it. Also, always store the product in its original cartridge to keep it in good condition.
