Product Detail

The DeWalt DCB240C 20 - Volt MAX 4 Ah compact starter kit is a powerhouse that combines great performance, light weight, and long run - time to power your DEWALT 20 - Volt MAX tools. This kit comes with 1 DCB240 20 - Volt MAX 4 Ah compact battery and a DCB113 Charger. The DCB240 20 - Volt MAX 4 Ah compact lithium - ion battery offers the highest capacity in the DEWALT 20 - Volt MAX compact series. Thanks to advanced lithium - ion technology, it gives up to one - third more run - time while having the same size and weight as the DCB230 20 - Volt MAX 3 Ah compact battery. Its small and light design is ergonomic, making it easier to handle tools, especially for overhead work. The DCB240 also has a fuel gauge LED charge indicator. Both the battery and charger come with a 3 - year limited warranty. What's in the kit? One battery and one charger. Key features include an 80 - Watt hour (4 Amp hour) capacity for longer runtime, same size and weight as the DCB230, lighter than the DCB204 with the same capacity, compatibility with 20 - Volt MAX tools, and a 3 - LED fuel gauge charge indicator. Specifications: It's 9.125 inches tall, 9.938 inches long, and weighs 2.21 pounds.

Using the DeWalt DCB240C battery starter kit is easy. First, insert the battery into your 20 - Volt MAX DeWalt tool until it clicks into place. Make sure the tool is turned off before inserting or removing the battery. When charging, connect the charger to a power outlet and then place the battery on the charger. The LED charge indicator on the battery will show you the charging status. As for maintenance, keep the battery and charger in a dry place. Avoid exposing them to extreme heat or cold. If the battery isn't going to be used for a long time, store it at about 50% charge. Don't overcharge the battery, and always use the provided charger for safety and best performance. If you notice any damage to the battery or charger, stop using them immediately and contact DeWalt support.
