Product Detail

This DeWalt drill kit is a must - have for any professional on the jobsite. It comes with everything you need to tackle tough fastening and drilling projects. The kit includes: (1) DCD805 20V Max XR® Brushless Cordless 1/2 - inch Hammer Drill/Driver, (2) DCB203 20V Max 2Ah Lithium - Ion Batteries, (1) DCB112 Charger, (1) Belt Hook, and (1) Kit Bag. The drill has a compact 7 - inch size, 1/2 inch shorter than the DCD796's tool head, allowing easy access to hard - to - reach areas. Its 1/2 - inch metal ratcheting chuck provides excellent bit retention. With a high - speed transmission, variable trigger, and 2 speed settings (0 - 650/0 - 2,000 rpm), it offers pro - level speed, control, and precision. The adjustable 3 - Position, 3 - Mode LED with up to 70 Lumens brightens dark work areas. The LED spotlight mode has a 20 - minute shutoff function for longer work in low - light conditions. It's designed for optimized performance and runtime. You can manage and track this tool at the jobsite using the Tool Connect™ chip DCE042 (sold separately) and the Tool Connect™ Site Manager app. Specifications include a 1/2 - inch chuck size, 20V voltage, 34000 blows per minute, a hammer drill type, a maximum speed of 2000 RPM, a 20V Max battery system, 20V 2Ah Lithium - Ion batteries, a brushless motor, and features like a keyless chuck, LED light, and variable speed. It's yellow and black in color, weighs 2.95 lbs, and is made in Mexico. This lightweight and well - balanced drill helps you work comfortably in tight spaces for extended periods and quickly drives fasteners into thick materials and speeds through masonry drilling with its hammer mode.

Using your DeWalt drill kit is easy. First, charge the two DCB203 20V Max 2Ah batteries with the DCB112 charger. Once charged, insert a battery into the drill. To start drilling or driving, select the appropriate speed setting using the 2 - speed selector. For general tasks, you can use the lower speed (0 - 650 rpm), and for faster drilling or driving, switch to the higher speed (0 - 2000 rpm). If you're working in a dark area, use the adjustable 3 - Position, 3 - Mode LED to brighten your workspace. The spotlight mode can be handy for focused light, but remember it has a 20 - minute shutoff function. When using the hammer mode for masonry drilling, make sure to apply steady pressure. Always wear appropriate safety gear like safety glasses and gloves. For maintenance, keep the drill clean by wiping it down after each use. Store it in the provided kit bag to protect it from dust and damage. Check the batteries regularly and charge them when the power is low. The chuck may need occasional tightening if you notice the bit slipping. And don't forget, you can use the Tool Connect™ chip DCE042 (sold separately) and the Tool Connect™ Site Manager app to manage and track your drill at the jobsite.
