Using this DeWalt grinder is easy. First, charge the DCB609 DEWALT® FLEXVOLT® batteries with the DCB118 fast charger. Then, insert the battery into the grinder. You can attach the Type 27 guard, side handle, and the DW4547 grinding wheel using the hex key and threaded outer flange nut. When you're ready to work, hold the grinder firmly with the side handle and pipeline grip gearcase cover for better control. Press the trigger to start grinding. Remember, the E - CLUTCH® and kickback brake™ are there to protect you, so if the grinder stalls or binds up, it'll shut off quickly. When you're done, release the trigger, and the wheel will stop instantly. For maintenance, keep the grinder clean after each use.
