Using the DeWalt DCK221F2 is a breeze. First, charge the 12V MAX* batteries using the DCB112 charger. Once charged, insert the battery into either the drill/driver or the impact driver. For the drill/driver, choose the appropriate bit for your task and secure it in the 3/8 in. ratcheting chuck. Select the right speed and clutch setting according to the material you're drilling. Use the LED lights to see your work clearly. When using the impact driver, pick the correct socket or bit and insert it. Select one of the 3 mode settings, especially the Precision Drive™ for accurate fastening. Remember to always wear safety goggles when using these tools. After use, clean the tools with a dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Store the tools in the kit bag and keep the batteries in a cool, dry place. Don't overcharge the batteries and make sure to turn off the tools when not in use.
