Product Detail

What's Included: A single pilot drill bit. Key Features: It has a quick - change design, allowing for tool - free use in LENOX Snap - Back® arbors. It offers universal compatibility, fitting both quick - change and traditional non - quick - change arbors (except for proprietary arbor systems not using standard 1/4 - in shank pilot drills). With a versatile design, its high - speed steel construction is perfect for drilling both wood and metal. It has a 1/4 - in diameter. The LENOX hole saw pilot drills come with a quick - change groove that works well with both LENOX SNAP - BACK quick - change arbors and traditional non - quick - change arbors (excluding special arbor systems without standard 1/4 - in shank pilot drills). Its high - speed steel build is ideal for wood and metal drilling.

Using this hole saw arbor is easy. First, if you're using it with a quick - change arbor, simply insert the pilot drill bit without the need for any tools. For traditional non - quick - change arbors, follow the normal installation process. When drilling, start at a slow speed and gradually increase as needed. This helps prevent overheating and ensures a clean cut. When working on wood, make sure to support the material well to avoid splintering. For metal, use a lubricant to reduce friction and extend the life of the bit. After each use, clean the arbor and the pilot drill bit with a dry cloth to remove any debris. Store it in a dry place to prevent rusting. And always check the arbor and bit for any signs of wear or damage before using it again.
