Using the Makita dust extractor kit is easy. First, make sure the batteries are fully charged and inserted into the charger or the dust extractor. Connect the anti-static hose to the dust extractor and attach the appropriate tool cuff adapter to your power tool. Turn on the dust extractor using the oversized on - off switch. If you have the AWS® transmitter (sold separately), pair it with your AWS - equipped tool for wireless power control. You can adjust the speed using the variable speed control dial according to your needs. When the canister is full, use the quick - release metal latches to open it and dispose of the debris. Remember to clean the pre - filter regularly to maintain good suction. The automatic self - cleaning filter system helps, but a manual check and clean are also recommended.
