Using your Makita 40V Max XGT Dust Extractor Kit is easy. First, insert the batteries into the charger to get them ready. Once charged, put the batteries into the dust extractor. Connect the anti - static hose to the extractor and attach the appropriate cuff adapter to your tool. Turn on the extractor using the oversized on - off switch. You can adjust the speed with the variable speed control dial depending on your task. When using the AWS® feature, make sure to purchase the transmitter separately and pair it with your tool. After use, release the quick - release metal latches to empty the debris from the canister. For maintenance, clean the pre - filter and HEPA filter regularly. The automatic self - cleaning system helps, but you may need to do some manual cleaning from time to time. Store the extractor in a dry place.
