Using the Makita GSH01M1 circular saw is quite straightforward. First, charge the 40V max XGT® 4.0Ah battery using the Rapid Optimum Charger. Once charged, insert the battery into the saw. Make sure to select the right blade for your cutting task. You can adjust the bevel angle from 0 to 56 degrees with positive stops at 22.5, 45, and 56 degrees for precise cuts. When you start cutting, the Automatic Torque Drive Technology will adjust the speed according to the load. If you have the Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS®) transmitter (sold separately), pair it with a compatible dust extractor. The dust extractor will turn on and off automatically when you start and stop the saw. For safety, always wear protective gear like goggles and gloves. Don't use the saw if it's damaged. When it comes to maintenance, keep the saw clean. After use, wipe it down to remove dust and debris. The XPT™ technology helps protect the saw from dust and water, but it's still a good idea to avoid using it in extremely wet or dusty conditions. Check the blade regularly for wear and replace it when needed. Also, make sure the battery is stored in a cool, dry place. The XGT® Rapid Charger with its dual-fan design will cool the battery quickly during charging, but don't overcharge it. Just charge it until the digital display shows 100%.
