Using this sanding pad and paper set is easy. First, attach the sanding paper to the pad using the hook and loop technology. Make sure it's firmly in place. Then, attach the pad to your oscillating multi - tool. For paint removal, start with the 60 - grit sandpaper as it's more coarse and can remove paint quickly. When sanding wood, you can start with a coarser grit and then move to a finer one like 120 or 240 grit for a smoother finish. When using the tool, keep it moving evenly over the surface to avoid uneven sanding. After use, remove the sanding paper from the pad. Store the set in a dry place to prevent the foam backer of the pad from getting damaged. Check the sanding paper regularly for wear and replace it when it starts to lose its effectiveness.
