Using the Lenox 5L Hole Saw Arbor is a breeze. First, make sure your hole saw is within the 9L - 19L size range, as this arbor is designed to fit these saws. The hex - shaped shank and 3/8 - inch or larger size ensure a proper fit in your tool. When you start using it, the split - point pilot drill will quickly penetrate the material, so just apply a bit of pressure and let it do its job. Once you've cut through, the sliding pins on the 7L arbor will help you easily eject the plug from the hole saw. Since it's compatible with the LENOX® Uni - Drive Quick Change System, you can switch it in and out without the need for extra tools. As for maintenance, keep the arbor clean after each use. Wipe off any debris or sawdust. If it gets dirty, you can use a mild cleaner to clean it, but make sure to dry it thoroughly. Store it in a dry place to prevent rusting. When not in use, keep it away from sharp objects that could damage the shank or the pins. Also, check the arbor regularly for any signs of wear or damage, and replace it if necessary.
