Using the Makita DC18SF charger is easy. First, make sure the charger is plugged into a power source. Then, place your 18V LXT® or 18V Compact batteries into the charging ports. The charger indicators will show you the charging progress. For 18V LXT® batteries, it takes about 60 minutes for two and 120 minutes for four. For 18V Compact batteries, it's 30 minutes for two and 60 minutes for four. When charging, don't cover the charger to avoid overheating. Keep it in a dry and cool place. After use, unplug it from the power source. To maintain the charger, clean it with a dry cloth regularly. If there are any issues, refer to the 1-year warranty for help.
