



Using the Milwaukee 2278-20 Infrared Temperature Gun is easy. First, make sure you have an M12 battery (not included) inserted. Point the gun at the surface you want to measure, keeping in mind the 12:1 distance - to - spot ratio. Press the appropriate buttons to select the mode you need, like Hold, Max, Min, Avg, or Diff. You can also set up the High/Low Temperature Alert according to your requirements. When using it outdoors or indoors, take advantage of the clear LCD display for accurate readings. As for maintenance, keep the gun clean and dry. Avoid dropping it, although it's designed to withstand 6 - foot drops. If you're not using it for a while, remove the battery to prevent damage.
