Using the tools in this DeWalt combo kit is straightforward. First, charge the batteries using the DCB118 8 Amp fast charger. Make sure to match the right battery to the tool as all tools are compatible with DEWALT® 20V MAX* and FLEXVOLT® batteries. For the DCD999 hammer drill, when you need more power, use it with FLEXVOLT® batteries. The 3 - mode LED on the drill is great for working in the dark. You can use the spotlight mode, but remember it will turn off after 20 minutes to save battery. When using the DCF887 impact driver, choose the appropriate speed setting according to your task.
