Using these Milwaukee ONE - KEY™ Asset ID Tags is a breeze. First, find a small metal surface on your asset, like a hand tool. Clean the surface to make sure the tag will stick well. Then, peel the tag from the sheet and firmly press it onto the surface. To scan the tag, open the ONE - KEY™ app on your smart mobile device with a camera and hold the device close to the tag. The app will quickly read the 2D data matrix code and record the time and location. As for maintenance, since these tags are resistant to water, chemicals, and scratches, you don't have to worry too much about normal jobsite conditions. But if they get really dirty, you can gently wipe them with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the tag. Also, keep in mind that extreme temperature changes might affect the adhesion over time, so try to store your tagged assets in a reasonable environment.
