Product Detail

The Bosch GBH18V-21N 18V Brushless 3/4-Inch SDS-plus® Rotary Hammer is a top - notch power tool. It offers outstanding performance for concrete anchoring, masonry drilling, core cutting, and chiseling. With 1.5 Ft.-Lbs. of impact energy and a no - load bpm rating from 0 to 5,100, this hammer works as hard as you do. It comes with three operation modes: rotary hammer, rotation only, and hammer only. The brushless motor and its light weight of 5.3 Lbs. (tool only, excluding battery) boost runtime for long - term use and offer an excellent impact - to - weight ratio. This powerful tool is compatible with Bosch 18V Li - ion batteries, but for best results, a Bosch 18V 4.0 Ah battery or higher is recommended. It pairs well with Bosch PRO+GUARD™ dust solutions, an all - in - one dust - collection system that helps users meet OSHA Silica dust regulations. Its ergonomic design and soft - grip handle ensure user comfort. The Electronic Motor and Cell Protection safeguards the tool and battery from overload.

Using the Bosch GBH18V - 21N is easy. First, make sure you've inserted a Bosch 18V Li - ion battery. For best performance, use a 4.0 Ah battery or higher. Select the appropriate mode (rotary hammer, rotation only, or hammer only) according to your task. When drilling or chiseling, hold the tool firmly by the soft - grip handle. This will not only give you better control but also keep you comfortable during use. If you're working in an area where silica dust is a concern, connect the tool to the Bosch PRO+GUARD™ dust solutions. This will help keep the area clean and keep you compliant with OSHA regulations. As for maintenance, after each use, wipe the tool down with a dry cloth. Don't use any abrasive materials as they might damage the tool. Periodically check the SDS - plus® chuck to make sure it's clean and in good condition. Also, if you notice the tool or battery getting too hot during use, stop and let it cool down. This is because the Electronic Motor and Cell Protection is there to protect the tool and battery from overheating, but it's better to prevent overheating in the first place.
