The Bosch PROFACTOR™ GDS18V-740C 18V Connected 1/2 In. Impact Wrench with Friction Ring is a game-changer for heavy-duty jobs. It's designed to quickly break free and drive large bolts, nuts, and anchors. As part of the PROFACTOR™ System, it combines BITURBO Brushless™ Technology with a CORE18V® High Power Battery. This high-performance motor and drive-train system offers power similar to high-demand corded tools. It can deliver up to 740 Ft.-Lbs. of fastening torque and 1,180 Ft.-Lbs. of breakaway torque, all while having a long runtime. With three speed/torque settings and special modes, it helps prevent damage to workpieces and fasteners. You can set presets for metal screws and wood lag screws, and even customize additional modes for specific screws and materials via the Bosch Toolbox App. When in reverse with bolt mode on, the Auto Bolt Release stops rotation when there's no load, preventing accidental drops of bolts and nuts. The connectivity feature provides tool-specific information and feedback. The variable-speed trigger allows for accurate driving speed, and the LED light system brightens up the work area. The rubber head casing protects both the workpiece and the tool. The kit includes a CORE18V® 8 Ah High Power Battery, which offers 50% more runtime and over 75% more power than the CORE18V® 4 Ah battery, making it perfect for high-demand tasks. The kit also comes with an 18V Fast Charger, a Connectivity Module, a Joist Hanger, and a Carrying Bag.

Using the Bosch PROFACTOR 18V Impact Wrench is easy. First, make sure the battery is fully charged and properly inserted. You can choose from three speed and torque settings depending on your task. For example, use lower speeds for more delicate work and higher speeds for tougher jobs. When using the special modes like those for metal or wood screws, just select the appropriate preset in the Bosch Toolbox App. When removing bolts, activate the bolt mode to prevent dropping them. The variable-speed trigger gives you control over how fast the wrench drives. To keep your tool in top shape, clean it regularly with a dry cloth. Avoid using it in wet or extremely dusty conditions. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use. And don't forget to check the charger and connectivity module periodically to ensure they're working properly. If you have any problems, refer to the user manual or contact Bosch customer service.
