The DCD470 60V MAX* In-Line Stud and Joist Drill is the most powerful drill from DEWALT on the market. It's built to handle a wide variety of large drilling tasks. Despite its high power, it's designed to give you full control. Along with the built - in clutch, the DEWALT anti - rotation E - Clutch® System can detect the tool's movement. This smart feature senses the tool's motion and stops it if needed. A red LED lights up when the E - Clutch® System is activated.

Using the DeWalt DCD470B is easy. First, choose the right speed from the two variable speed ranges according to your drilling task. The Quick - Shift Speed Selector allows you to switch speeds smoothly. When you start drilling, the E - Clutch® System is there to protect you. If the drill suddenly stops due to a jam or other issues, the system will detect it and shut down the drill, and the red LED will light up. As for maintenance, keep the drill clean after each use. Wipe off any dust or debris. The magnesium gear case is durable, but avoid dropping the drill or subjecting it to strong impacts. If you want to keep track of your drill, install a DEWALT Tool Tag and use the Tool Connect ™ app. Always store the drill in a dry place to prevent damage.
