Product Detail

The Makita BL1850B-2 battery pack comes with two high-performance batteries. It features an integrated LED battery charge level indicator, allowing you to easily monitor the battery charge. Compared to the BL1830, it offers up to 65% more run time per charge. It can reach a full charge in 45 minutes or less. This battery is only compatible with Star Protection tools, which are marked by the Star Symbol™ and/or a yellow battery receiver under the tool. It delivers consistent power and run time even in extreme cold, down to -4°F (-20°C). Equipped with Star Protection Computer Controls™, it protects against overloading, over-discharging, and over-heating. The impact-resistant outer case and shock-absorbing inner-liner safeguard the battery. Sixteen contact terminals ensure a constant connection with the tool, preventing power loss or fluctuation during high-vibration work. It resists self-discharge and stays ready for use after long storage periods. Makita's 18V Lithium-Ion is the world's largest cordless tool line powered by an 18V Lithium-Ion slide-style battery. Makita's advanced technology provides a category-leading charge time, so the battery spends more time working and less time on the charger (charger not included). It also comes with a 3-year limited warranty.

Using your Makita BL1850B-2 batteries is easy. Just slide the battery onto a compatible Star Protection tool until it clicks into place. Before first use, charge the batteries fully. The integrated LED indicator will show you the charge level. When charging, use a suitable charger (not included). Make sure the charging area is cool and dry. Don't expose the batteries to extreme heat or cold. In winter, the batteries can still work well at -4°F (-20°C), but performance might be slightly affected. Avoid overloading the tool, as the Star Protection Computer Controls™ are there to protect the battery, but overloading can still reduce its lifespan. If you're using the tool in high-vibration applications, the 16 contact terminals will keep the power stable. After use, store the batteries in a dry place. They resist self-discharge, so they'll be ready for your next project even after a long break. Remember, these batteries come with a 3-year limited warranty, so if you have any issues, contact Makita.
