Using your Makita CRU03Z string trimmer is easy. First, make sure the battery is fully charged. If you're using the battery backpack, connect the trimmer to it with the cable. Then, turn on the trimmer using the power switch. You can control the cutting speed with the variable speed trigger switch. Use the different speed options (low, medium, high) according to the task at hand. If grass or weeds get entangled in the trimmer head, use the reverse rotation function to clear them quickly.
