Using the Makita 40V Max XGT 18" Chain Saw Kit: First, charge the 40V max XGT® 5.0Ah Battery using the included charger. Once charged, insert the battery into the chain saw. Before starting, check the chain tension and the oil level in the large oil reservoir. You can adjust the automatic chain lubrication according to your needs. When using, hold the saw firmly with the rubberized soft - grip top handle. Press the L.E.D. on/off switch to start, and use the variable - speed trigger for different cutting speeds.
