Using the Makita GT201M1D1 combo kit is a breeze. First, make sure you've charged the 2.5Ah or 4.0Ah batteries using the rapid charger. The charger will show the battery charge level on its digital display. When you're ready to work, pick the right tool for the job. For drilling holes in wood, masonry, or metal, use the ½” hammer driver-drill. You can adjust the speed using the variable speed trigger and select the appropriate torque setting with the electronic digital clutch. If you need to drive screws, the 4-speed impact driver is your go-to. Use the one-touch 4-speed power selector to set the speed. When using the tools, be aware that the Active Feedback-sensing Technology (AFT®) will turn off the motor if the accessory's rotation suddenly stops. This is a safety feature to protect you. For better performance in tough conditions, the tools are designed with Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) to resist dust and water. Just remember to use only genuine Makita® batteries and chargers. After use, clean the tools with a dry cloth. Store the tools and batteries in a cool, dry place. And don't forget, the tool, battery, and charger come with a 3-year limited warranty.
