Using this Milwaukee headlamp is a piece of cake. First, insert the 3 AAA batteries into the battery compartment. You can use the rubber strap if you're wearing a hard hat or the nylon strap for bare - head use. Or, if you prefer, use the Dual Lock™ adhesive to attach it directly to your hard hat. Then, turn on the headlamp and choose from the 5 output modes according to your lighting needs. Remember, in low mode, it can run for up to 40 hours. When using it, make sure the light head is adjusted to the right position for the best lighting angle. As for maintenance, keep it dry because it's only water - resistant, not waterproof.
