The Milwaukee® 22-18-2240 Brush Assembly is tailored for various 4.5' - 5' compact angle grinders. It fits models like the 6147-31, 6146-31 with paddle switch, 6121-30, 6146-31, 6147-30, 6146-30 with paddle switch and lock-on, 6149-59B with slide switch, 6121-31 4.5' compact rat-tail angle grinder, 6146-33 with slide switch, and 6121-31A 5' compact rat-tail angle grinder. This set includes two carbon brush assemblies. Worn brushes often lead to poor motor performance, but replacing them can fix intermittent motor operation and restore electric braking.

Using the Milwaukee 22-18-2240 brush assembly is easy. First, make sure your angle grinder is turned off and unplugged. Then, open the brush housing on your grinder.
