Using the Fluke T6 - 1000 is quite easy. First, if you want to measure voltage and current, you can either use the attached test leads or rely on the FieldSense technology. When using FieldSense, just slide the open jaw around the cable. You'll see the voltage and current values on the backlit display right away.
When it comes to safety, always make sure to follow the standard electrical safety procedures. Don't try to measure higher than the rated 1000V or 200A. Also, avoid using the tester in wet or extremely hot environments.
For maintenance, keep the tester clean. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe it. Replace the AA batteries when the power is low. If you notice any damage to the test leads or the tester itself, stop using it immediately and get it checked or repaired by a professional.
