Product Detail

The Milwaukee 48 - 89 - 4605 package includes two 1/8' Titanium Shockwave drill bits. These bits come with a titanium coating that offers up to 3X longer lifespan compared to black oxide bits. They are SHOCKWAVE Impact Duty, made for both drills and impacts. The RED HELIX design allows for quick chip removal, reducing heat buildup and keeping the bits sharp for longer. With a 135° split - point tip, they start precisely without wandering. The variable helix, starting at an aggressive 35° and ending at 15°, further enhances chip removal. The titanium coating can be used in all drilling applications, giving you long - lasting performance.

To use these Milwaukee drill bits, first, select the appropriate drill or impact tool. Insert the bit firmly into the tool's chuck. When starting a hole, place the 135° split - point tip on the surface where you want to drill. Apply gentle pressure and start the tool at a slow speed until the bit makes a small indentation. Then, increase the speed for faster drilling. Make sure to keep the tool perpendicular to the surface for accurate holes. As you drill, the RED HELIX design will help remove chips, but you may need to pull the bit out occasionally to clear any large chips. When you're done, turn off the tool and remove the bit. Store the bits in a dry place, away from moisture and corrosive substances. If the bits become dull, you can replace them as they are designed for long - term use but not infinite sharpness.
