Using your DeWalt DCD800E2 Drill/Driver is a breeze. First, insert the battery into the drill. You can choose between the two speed settings (0 - 650/0 - 2,000 rpm) based on your task. For heavy - duty drilling, go for the higher speed. When fastening, the lower speed gives you more control. The variable trigger allows you to adjust the speed as needed. To use the LED, simply switch it on to one of the 3 modes to brighten up dark work areas. Remember to use the 1/2 - inch metal ratcheting chuck to securely hold your drill bits. As for maintenance, keep the drill clean after each use. Wipe it down with a dry cloth. When not in use, store it in the provided kit bag. Charge the batteries fully before the first use and avoid overcharging. Also, if you want to manage your tools at the worksite, you can insert the Tool Connect chip DCE042 (sold separately) into the drill's chip pocket and connect it to the Tool Connect Site Manager app.
