Product Detail

DETAILS: This DeWalt 20V MAX XR® cordless cable stripper comes with great inclusions. You'll get the DCE151 cable stripper and a DCBP034C 20V MAX starter kit that has a Powerstack Compact battery and a charger. FEATURES: The depth gauge ensures consistent stripping of cables up to 4 feet. It can handle #6 - 750 MCM Cu/Al cables. The quick - release bushings let you easily swap bushings for different cable sizes. The variable - speed trigger with reverse gives you better control. The adjustable onboard LED light helps you work in dark or low - light areas. The E - Clutch™ system keeps you in control if the tool gets jammed. It uses DEWALT bushings and is also compatible with Greenlee® and Ripley® bushings. With the right bushing, it can strip both (THHN/XHHW) copper and aluminum cables, covering sizes from 6 AWG to 750MCM CU and 900MCM AL. SPECIFICATIONS: It runs on 20V MAX*, has a tool height of 6.95 inches, a length of 10.39 inches, and weighs 2.4 lbs. It can handle THHN CU cables, with a CU cable capacity range of 6 AWG to 750 MCM and an AL cable capacity range of 5 AWG to 900 CM. The stripping depth is 4 inches, and it has an LED light. Say goodbye to using knives for stripping electrical cables. This cable stripper quickly and cleanly strips copper and aluminum cables in a wide range of sizes. The quick - release bushings and reference chart make it easy to work with different cable diameters, boosting your productivity for large - diameter cable stripping tasks.

Using this DeWalt cable stripper is a breeze. First, make sure the battery in the starter kit is fully charged. Then, select the appropriate bushing for the cable size you're working with and use the quick - release feature to install it. Next, set the depth gauge according to your needs. Place the cable in the stripper and use the variable - speed trigger to start the stripping process. You can use the reverse function if needed for better control. In low - light situations, turn on the adjustable LED light. When it comes to safety, always wear appropriate safety gear like gloves and goggles. Don't try to strip cables that are outside the specified size range. If the tool gets jammed, the E - Clutch™ system will help you maintain control, but still be careful. For maintenance, after each use, wipe down the tool to remove any debris. Check the bushings regularly for wear and tear and replace them if necessary. Store the tool in a dry place when not in use.
