The DeWalt DCE410B 20V MAX* XR 1-1/2 PEX Expander is an outstanding cordless pro-grade solution. It's the lightest option for expanding 1-1/4 and 1-1/2 PEX pipes. This expander can handle 3/8 - 1-1/2 expansion-type PEX, like Uponor ProPEX tubing, and it expands up to 20% faster than the Milwaukee 2632 M18 PEX Expander. It works well with existing DEWALT 3/8 - 1 expansion heads (sold separately). The tool has a long, ergonomically designed body with upper and lower grips, making it great for overhead and body-height pipe expansions. The auto-rotating head mechanism ensures even expansion surfaces. The onboard LED lights up your workspace, and the side-mounted hang hook makes storage easy. The brushless motor offers significant runtime, allowing you to work all day on one battery (sold separately). You can add Bluetooth tracking by pairing a Tool Connect Chip DCE042 (sold separately) via the CHIP-READY pocket on the tool's foot. (Battery and charger sold separately.) Included is one 20V MAX* XR 1-1/2 PEX Expander. Its features include expanding 3/8 - 1-1/2 ASTM F1960 Type-A and Type-B PEX Piping, a lightweight right angle design for tight spaces with an extra bottom grip for easy overhead access, automatic rotating head action for even expansion, being the lightest solution for 1-1/4 and 1-1/2 PEX expansion, and a brushless motor that does 1-1/2 expansions per 3Ah battery.

Using the DeWalt DCE410B PEX Expander is easy. First, make sure you have the right expansion head for the PEX pipe size you're working with. These heads are sold separately. Insert the battery (sold separately) into the tool. Then, place the expander on the PEX pipe. The tool's auto - rotating head will ensure an even expansion. For overhead work, use the lower grip for better control. When working in low - light areas, turn on the onboard LED. As for charging, always use the appropriate charger (sold separately). Keep the tool clean by wiping it down after each use. Avoid exposing the tool to extreme temperatures or moisture. If you're not using the tool for a long time, store it in a dry place using the side - mounted hang hook. Also, if you've paired the Tool Connect Chip DCE042 for Bluetooth tracking, keep the chip charged as well. And remember, the battery and charger are not included, so you'll need to purchase them separately to get the most out of your tool.
