Using your Makita Outdoor Adventure 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Starter Pack is a breeze. First, insert the 4.0Ah battery into the charger and plug the charger into a power outlet. The integrated L.E.D. battery charge level indicator will show you the charging status. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger and insert it into your compatible Star Protection 'bare tool'. Remember, this battery is only compatible with tools indicated by the Star Symbol™ and/or Yellow Battery Receiver under the tool. When using the tool, Star Protection Computer Controls™ will protect against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating, but try not to push the tool too hard for extended periods.
